Koningoesterzwam<\/p><\/div>\n

Stevige vlezige kweekpaddenstoel met lichtgekleurde steel en donkerbruine hoed. Doet qua kleurstelling aan eekhoortjesbrood (porcini) denken, maar behoort tot de familie van de oesterzwammen. De paddenstoel groeit in trossen. Hij wordt ook wel Eryngii genoemd. De Konings oesterzwam is de grootste variant in het geslacht van de oesterzwammen.<\/p>\n

De smaak is vlakker dan je verwacht, maar lekker paddestoelachtig. Rauw heeft hij niet veel smaak. Maar bij gebakken of gegrilld komt er een heerlijke umami-smaak vrij.  Een fijne soort om in plakken of stukken te eten. Deze paddenstoel zit vol met mineralen. Tijdens het bakken behoudt hij goed zijn vorm en stevigheid.<\/p>\n
